Our Region celebrated National Bike Month this past May in so many ways.

The Miami Valley Region is becoming more and more bicycle friendly - with 340 miles of connected paved trails, a growing bike share program and new bike racks and bike lanes added often, it’s no surprise we celebrate bike month in a big way too. Miami Valley Freight and Transportation Profiles now available.

The MVRPC staff recently completed profiles summarizing the Region’s freight and transportation networks. The movement of people and goods is a key component to the success of an economy. New guides to the Nation’s Largest Paved Trail Network released!

The release of the fifth edition of The Miami Valley Ohio Bikeways Guide Map and newly updated MiamiValleyTrails.org are great ways to kick off the cycling season. Both serve as guides to navigating the Nation’s Largest Paved Trail Network and beyond.  The Miami Valley Ohio Bikeways Guide Map highlights 340 miles of trails and attractions like museums and historical sites to help you explore the Miami Valley Region. International Trails Symposium Registration Information

Dayton was selected to host the International Trails Symposium to be held May 7 – 10, 2017. This is the premier event for trail managers and builders, industry leaders, planners and enthusiasts to come together to learn and collaborate. Registration is now open for this event and we invite you to attend. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about trails. 2016 was a successful year for our Region!

The Miami Valley Region has had many accomplishments to celebrate this past year. 2016 was a record year of funding spent and funding sought for transportation projects in the Region including the #1 scoring projects for TRAC in Ohio, GRE US 35.  We also saw the completion of the I-75 Modernization Project that opened ahead of schedule and under budget.  Read full article

Public Input Meeting to be held November 3, 2016 regarding proposed new projects

On Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., we’ll be hosting a public input meeting to review locally proposed projects being considered for funding.
