Dayton, OH – The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) will hold a virtual Public Participation Meeting to present the DRAFT of the Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). Over the past year and a half, MVRPC has developed its first regional greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory, mapped and projected those emissions into the future, and listened to community and industry stakeholders to understand a desired path forward. The draft outlines key strategies to reduce climate pollution emissions, highlights opportunities for local implementation, and shows the benefits of action for everyone. The CCAP Plan covers the Dayton-Kettering-Beavercreek Metropolitan Statistical Area and includes Greene, Miami and Montgomery Counties.
The meeting will take place via Zoom, a video conferencing platform, and will be held as follows: Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

After a brief presentation featuring a summary of the DRAFT CCAP and how to submit comments, MVRPC staff will be available to answer questions and accept comments.
