Dayton, OH – The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) will hold a virtual Public Participation Meeting regarding the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan Update. The Long Range Transportation Plan is a long-range (20+ year) strategy and capital improvement program developed to guide the effective investment of public funds in multi-modal transportation facilities. The plan is updated every five years and is prepared by MVRPC in its capacity as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in cooperation with local and state officials, and other coordinating agencies. The MPO area includes Greene, Miami, Montgomery, and northern Warren counties.
The meeting will take place via Zoom, a video conferencing platform, and will be held as follows: Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

After a brief presentation, MVRPC staff will accept comments and answer questions regarding updates to the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan. MVRPC staff will present background information on existing transportation and socio-economic conditions and the transportation goals which have been established for the plan.
If you are unable to attend, information will also be available for public review on MVRPC’s website at plan2050.mvrpc.org and at the MVRPC offices, 6 North Main Street, Suite 400, Dayton, OH, 45402, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). Written comments will be accepted at the above address, web address, or via email at plan2050@mvrpc.org until September 4, 2025.
