The next meeting of the MVRPC Water & Environment Subcommittee (WESC) will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). This will be a virtual meeting; a Zoom link will be provided.
The agenda for the meeting covers several Water Quality Planning topics. Michael Frommer, project lead from CDM Smith, will introduce the team and timeline for the Southwest Ohio Regional Water Study – a comprehensive study of water resources and utility capacities for 20 counties in SW Ohio. Then, MVRPC staff will share our proposed timeline for a working group to assess the current process for updating Facility Planning Areas (FPA). Finally, we will have some quick updates on our Greene County round of FPA outreach, water workforce, and climate pollution reduction planning work.
