Public Participation Meeting to review the FINAL Draft of the Miami Valley Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan

Dayton, OH - The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) is updating the Miami Valley Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for the Region. A public participation meeting will be held to discuss the final draft of the plan. The public is encouraged to attend and make comments.

MVRPC staff and its consulting team will be on hand to review the list of coordinated transportation goals and priorities and accept comments. The meeting will include stations with informational display boards, staff to answer questions and collect input, and a rolling presentation displayed throughout the meeting. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting to provide input.

Free parking is available at the library. The library is accessible. RTA routes 7 and 8 stop at the library. For additional transportation options, contact your local transit provider or search options at www.miamivalleyridefinder.org.

Established in 1964, the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission promotes collaboration among communities, stakeholders, and residents to advance regional priorities.  MVRPC is a forum and resource where the Board of Directors identifies priorities and develops public policy and collaborative strategies to improve quality of life throughout the Miami Valley Region.  MVRPC performs various regional planning activities, including air quality, water quality, transportation, land use, research and GIS.  As the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), MVRPC is responsible for transportation planning in Greene, Miami and Montgomery Counties and parts of northern Warren County. MVRPC's areawide water quality planning designation encompasses five (5) counties: Darke, Preble plus the three MPO counties.
