CONTINUING IMPACT
I-71 Culvert Preservation - Replacement of a headwall and the outlet of a small culvert and regrading the embankment along I-71, just south of the S.R. 48 interchange. Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will be in effect on I-71 North and South daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as needed and as weather permits. All work is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2023.
NEW IMPACT
I-75/S.R. 73 Intersection Improvement - Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, September 8, the ramp from southbound I-75 to S.R. 73 will be closed until 6 a.m. Monday, September 11. Traffic will be detoured via I-75 South and S.R. 123. Then, on Friday, September 15, the ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, September 18. Traffic will use the same detour.
NEW IMPACT
C.R. 35 (Stubbs Mill Road) Bridge Rehabilitation - Over I-71, between Wood and E. Turtlecreek Union roads. Stubbs Mill Road is closed through mid-October, and motorists are being detoured by way of S.R. 123 and U.S. 22. This phase of the project is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2023, and the entire project, which includes bridge repairs on Irwin Simpson and Waynesville roads, will be completed in the fall of 2024.
S.R. 48 Widening - Installation of a thru lane in both directions on S.R. 48, to the north and south of U.S. 22, from just north of Ridgeview Lane/Saddle Creek Lane to Willow Pond Boulevard, as well as the addition of a second southbound left-turn from S.R. 48 to U.S. 22. Beginning Thursday, September 14, and continuing through Sunday, September 17, single-lane closures will be in effect on U.S. 22, nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day for watermain installation.
CONTINUING IMPACTS
S.R. 48/122 Resurfacing - Pavement repair and resurfacing project on S.R. 122, between S.R. 123 and S.R. 48, and on S.R. 48, from the Clermont County line to just north of Foster-Maineville Road and from Portland Boulevard, north of Miller Road, to S.R. 73 at Waynesville. Traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers in either work zone during hours of operation, daily from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in November 2023.
S.R. 73 Intersection Improvement - Project on S.R. 73 at the I-75 interchange that includes construction of a left-turn lane on westbound S.R. 73 at southbound I-75; left and right-turn lanes on S.R. 73 East and West at Sharts Road/Greenwood Lane; widening of the I-75 South entrance ramp to two lanes; widening of the I-75 North exit ramp and a new turn lane to S.R. 73; and a multi-use path along the south side of S.R. 73 to Conover Drive. Traffic has been shifted into a new configuration that will be in place during construction. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2024.
S.R. 123 Intersection Improvement - At the intersection with Beal Road and Shotwell Drive. Project includes realigning Beal Road, installing a westbound left-turn lane, replacing a bridge on Beal Road over the Clear Creek tributary, and signalization. Beal Road is closed immediately east of S.R. 123 for bridge replacement through mid-November, and while it is closed, motorists may detour by way of S.R. 123 and McLean, Dearth and Weidner roads. Traffic on S.R. 123 will be maintained through the work zone. The project is scheduled to be completed in June 2024.
S.R. 741 Intersection Improvement - Construction of a right-turn lane on northbound S.R. 741 at Remick Boulevard, as well as installing a new signal and signal timing at the intersection. Traffic will be maintained in the work zone, with the right lane of northbound S.R. 741 closed between W. Lytle Five Points Road and Remick Boulevard during daytime, working hours. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2024.
