The next meeting of the MVRPC Water & Environment Subcommittee (WESC) will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). This will be a virtual meeting; a Zoom link will be provided.
The agenda for the meeting will cover several Water Quality Planning topics. We look forward to your input and perspective on the following areas:
- Introduction to Ohio EPA’s Southwest Ohio Regional Water Study
- Water Quality Planning Program Topics
- Proposed update to Piqua and Troy FPAs
- Preble County Outreach Update
- Wastewater Operator Workforce

MVRPC established the Water and Environment Subcommittee (WESC) to serve as that more comprehensive forum for the discussion of any environmental issues that come before the Regional Planning Commission. The WESC will continue the work of Wastewater Treatment Facility Planning, and will also address matters regarding Climate Pollution Reduction Planning. Other environmental issues will be addressed at WESC meetings as the needs arise.
