Newly published data on transportation safety in the Miami Valley

MVRPC is designated as the Metropolitan Planning Organization by the governor of Ohio and its members are responsible for transportation planning in Greene, Miami, Montgomery and portions of Warren Counties. On transportation issues the MVRPC Board is served by the Technical Advisory Committee, which meets the third Thursday of each month.
MVRPC was designated as the Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO) for the Darke-Preble-Shelby (D-P-S) Region on December 18, 2024 by Governor DeWine. The RTPO Steering Committee (RTPOSC) supports the MVRPC Board of Directors for the area of coverage. The RTPOSC meets quartlery in rotating locations.
In its position as the area’s planner for metropolitan and regional transportation, MVRPC develops plans that ensure the continued successes of this region - plans that enhance this area’s competitive position, promote integration of systems, stimulate the economy, improve your own personal mobility, and preserve our environment.
