Austin Pike Interchange at I75

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is considering several alternatives in an effort to improve access to and from Interstate 75 and ease congestion on adjacent state routes and their existing interchanges with I-75.

Austin Pike Preferred Alternative

The preferred alternative was recommended during an open house public meeting on Monday, May 1, 2006. Several handouts and exhibits were presented at the public meeting.

Austin Pike Widening and Realigning update

As a result of changes in expected funding sources, the original scope of the project to realign and improve Austin Pike between SR-741 and Washington Church Road has been modified by the Montgomery County Engineer's Office. Updated information is now available.

Austin Pike Relocation Open House Public Meeting

The Montgomery County Engineer's Office is proposed realigning and improving Austin Pike between SR-741 and Washington Church Road, just north of the Dayton Wright Brothers Airport. The public was invited to attend an open house public meeting providing information about this project on Thursday, March 6, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dayton Wright Brothers Airport, 10600 Springboro Pike.

Byers Road Public Meeting

The Montgomery County Transportation Improvement District (MCTID) and other local project sponsors  proposed realigning and widening Byers Road from Technical Drive to Miamisburg-Springboro Pike. This project coincided with the proposed interchange at I-75 and Austin Pike/Miamisburg-Springboro Pike to improve the flow of traffic in this area and better serve the needs of the traveling public. The MCTID, in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation and other project sponsors, has developed various alternatives for the realignment. From those efforts, a preferred alternative has been selected.

The public was invited to attend an open house public meeting for this project on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport, 10600 Springboro Pike.

Austin Pike Major Investment Study

Residents and businesses in southern Montgomery and northern Warren Counties in southwestern Ohio have long discussed the possibility of increased capacity, including an additional interchange on Interstate 75 (I-75) between State Route (SR) 725 and SR-73, and/or an interstate-level southwestern beltway connecting I-75 south of Dayton and I-70 west of Dayton.
