Areawide Water Quality Management Plan Committee Structure

In May 2004 a special Areawide Facility Planning Subcommittee was formed to offer input on the technical issues of wastewater treatment facility planning. This group includes those participants from the Great Miami Network and Little Miami Basin Councils from MVRPC’s 5-County Planning Area. Input flows upward from these committees to MVRPC’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and then on to the Board of Directors where final decisions regarding Plan content adoption are made. Adopted portions of MVRPCs Plan are forwarded on a periodic basis to the Ohio EPA and U.S. EPA for State and Federal certification.
