b'PartnershipsMVRPCs Greater Region Mobility Initiative Survey and Focus Groups Captures Valuable Data for the Plan UpdateMVRPC in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation Office of Transit lead a coordinated planning effort called the Greater Region Mobility Initiative(GRMI). The GRMI brings together key partners which improve transportation services by eliminating gaps in services, reducing duplication of services, and eliminates transportation barriers. This plan is a strategic document with a simple mission and vision to improve transportation services by addressing transportation barriers through established goals and strategies. This plan is in cooperation with locally elected officials for Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, and Preble Counties. As part of this update, MVRPC worked with a consultant to gather public feedback. The primary goal of conducting the community survey and focus groups was to validate orincluding limited operating hours, advanced scheduling invalidate the needs identified by transportation providersrequirements, reliability issues, and prohibitive costs.
