These enhancements will be designed to match enhancements currently under construction along Colonel Glenn Highway to the east of Zink Road. This project also includes the replacement of deteriorated sections of sidewalk along this portion of the Colonel Glenn Highway corridor. FUNDING:GREENE COUNTY Transportation Alternatives $278,682.59Beavercreek Local Match $150,059.86Additional Local Funds $17,215.00PID#115009 Total $445,957.45The City of Beavercreek received a Transportation Alternatives (TA) grantfrom MVRPC in 2020 for $336,500 for the installation of streetscape along Col. Glenn Highway between Grange Hall Road and Zink Road. This included decorative brick pavers, seating walls, and lighting along this corridor to match the previously completed streetscape east of Zink Road. Construction for this project was started and completed in 2024. With the help of MVRPC through this TA grant, the City able to complete the streetscape between Grange Hall Rd and Zink Road to revitalize the aesthetics along this corridor as well as provide updated lighting and amenities for non-motorized travelers along the corridor.
