The end result is a beautiful corridor into the heart of our city with not only a new, wider road surface with better traffic flow, but many safety features along the way. new sidewalks, curb lawn, improved turn lanes and a boulevard, along with improved traffic and pedestrian signals at two major intersections on W. Main (Dorset and Adams). We also partnered with AES to bury unsightly power lines and remove those that were obsolete. New lighting along W. Main will provide the finishing touch to this project yet this year. Additionally, part of doing a major road reconstruction also means doing any infrastructure upgrades that are needed. This project allowed us the opportunity to upsize a water main and improve stormwater drainage without tearing up the road twice. We are so thankful for all of these partnerships which bring new roads and infrastructure to our communities all over the region.City of Troy Mayor Robin I. Oda14 MVRPC 2024 ANNUAL REPORT'
