In SFY 2019, MVRPC completed the first Accessibility Analysis for Basic Services that looked at how the Region's residents can access basic services (groceries, medical facilities, community centers/ schools) using different transportation modes. The results highlighted areas with good services and vice versa, and compared the accessibility of the general population to those of vulnerable populations. Following the same methodology outlined in the 2019 Report, MVRPC has updated the accessibility analysis with new data including location of facilities in 2026 and updated population values from the 2020 Census.
