The next meeting of the MVRPC Water & Environment Subcommittee (WESC) will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). This will be a virtual meeting; a meeting link will be provided with your R.S.V.P.
The agenda for the meeting covers both Water Quality and Climate Pollution Planning topics:
- MVRPC staff will provide an overview of the proposed amendment to the Areawide Water Quality Management Plan. The proposed amendment includes an FPA boundary change for the City of Greenville (Darke County), and a set of proposed updates to the MVRPC Facility Planning Policies.
- Staff from the City of Dayton and from Power a Clean Future Ohio will provide a review of the Dayton Sustainability Plan and an overview of the process to update the Plan that is currently underway
- Our regional Climate Pollution Reduction Plan consultants, SSG, will share the update to the “Business as Planned” scenario based on recent regional and national developments.
- Time permitting – a community/agency roundtable will provide an opportunity for participants to share recent environmental, sustainability or resilience work.
We look forward to your input and perspective on all of these topics.
Please note: This meeting of the Water & Environment Subcommittee will not have a specific agenda item for the Southwest Ohio Regional Water Study. The CDM Smith Team will be presenting a full demonstration of the Regional Water Study Dashboard in a separate meeting on Friday, November 20th, 2026. Please reach out to Elizabeth Baxter ([email protected]) to get the link for the Dashboard presentation.
An R.S.V.P. is requested for this meeting. Please let MVRPC know if you are or are not attending this virtual meeting.
