The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (GDRTA) is leading the Miami Valley in terms of innovative, multi-modal transit solutions that make it easier and more efficient to travel when and how you want. The agency will demonstrate its latest innovations as well as give a sneak peek for what’s coming soon during “The RTA Experience” on Friday, June 29, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Dayton’s Courthouse Square.

GDRTA will be offering incentives to encourage participants to learn how easy it is to integrate public transportation into their everyday lives with prizes for participants, including Dayton Dragons professional baseball tickets and t-shirts.

The GDRTA is one of the few transit systems in the country that operates its own bike share service - Link Bikes. The agency will also highlight its partnership with Lyft and other providers to accommodate on-demand trips in previously underserved areas through its GDRTA Connect On-Demand program. Participants will learn about the tools they need to plan and book a trip for a variety of GDRTA services, including GDRTA RideTime. Also, hear about changes the bus agency’s made to allow children 12 and under to ride free and plans to make the entire bus system cashless.
