Construction Projects on SR 235
The State Route 235/State Route 4 Interchange will undergo rehabilitation. The project will raise the S.R. 235 Bridge over S.R. 4, replace the driving surface and install new galvanized beams. This is one of three separate projects to upgrade the State Route 235 Corridor between Montgomery and Greene Counties. Chambersburg Road/S.R. 235 Bridge Repair -Expect the Chambersburg Road/State Route 235 Bridge over State Route 4 to close on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, through Friday, August 13, 2021. Drivers will not have access to these ramps: S.R. 4 NB exit ramp to S.R. 235 and S.R. 235 entrance ramp to S.R. 4 NB. Crews will be rehabilitating the bridge.
Chambersburg Road/S.R. 235 Ramp Closure - Expect two ramp closures at the State Route 235(Chambersburg Rd.)/State Route 4 Interchange in Huber Heights. The S.R. 4 northbound exit ramp to S.R. 235 SB and the S.R. 235 NB entrance ramp to S.R. 4 northbound will close on Tuesday, April 20 through Thursday, May 27. Crews will be performing drainage work.
S.R. 235 Bridge Rehabilitation - Over Mud Run and Mad River, between S.R. 4 and Medway Road. Traffic is being maintained in one lane with temporary signals through the summer of 2021. The entire project is scheduled for completion in June 2022.
S.R. 235 Bridge Rehabilitation - S.R. 235 will be closed immediately east of the Montgomery County line on Tuesday, April 13, from 8 p.m. to midnight for guardrail repair. Motorists will be detoured via S.R. 444, I-675, I-70 and S.R. 201.
S.R. 4, S.R. 235 & S.R. 725 Ditching - On S.R. 4, near Adams Road; on S.R. 235, near Herr Road; and on S.R. 725, near Penewit Road. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
S.R. 235 & S.R. 725 Tree Removal - On S.R. 235, between U.S. 68 and Wenon Road, and on S.R. 725 between Lower Bellbrowk and Schnebly roads. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
