Expansion Project
Welcome to the Senior Transportation Expansion Project. Please click on the buttons below that best match your interests or needs. If you have any questions, please contact the Senior Transportation Coordinator at 531-6524.
STEP’s goal is to increase transportation options available to Montgomery County residents over the age of 60 for both life essential (medical, dental, nutritional, grocery and pharmacy shopping) and life enhancing (social, personal care, family visitation, recreation, educational and non-essential shopping) purposes.
Transportation is provided by existing non-profits and municipal programs. We refer riders to these programs, based on geography and on services needed. We also provide support services and refer volunteers to the local programs. All volunteers are welcome and much needed!
