Miami Valley Land Development Suitability Assessment
The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) is pleased to announce the release of the Miami Valley Land Development Suitability Assessment.
This assessment was conducted as the final portion of the physical existing conditions evaluation phase of Going Places – An Integrated Land Use Vision for the Miami Valley Region. The main purpose of this assessment is to examine the regional landscape in a comprehensive manner and to identify developable land that is not currently fully developed and/or protected land.
This assessment is an examination of the Region through a four-phase analysis, which includes historical development trends, constraints and opportunities of the present landscape, current land development conditions, and applications of the findings. Together, these analyses provide geographically referenced information about areas that are better suited to accommodate potential future physical land development in the Region. For additional information about the Miami Valley Land Development Suitability Assessment, contact Martin Kim Director of Regional Planning at (937) 223-6323.
