Description:
From urban skylines to beautiful river vistas, the Great Miami River Trail has something for everyone. The trail winds its way near museums, picnic facilities, acres of natural parkland and over gently rolling terraina perfect match for the runner, skater or cyclist.
The southern section extends from Franklin traveling north through downtown Dayton, in close proximity to top-notch museums, numerous monuments and RiverScape. Historic parks and markers make the southern section a lesson in Dayton's contribution to the region's history.
Three Miami County sections have been built in Tipp City, Troy and Piqua. The first section runs from Kyle Park through Tipp City to the Nature Preserve.
The next section begins at Concord Township Line and travels north through the City of Troy.
And the third section starts at the Covington-Piqua Trail and ends near Johnston Farm Historical Area.
