US Route 35 Corridor Studies

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC), in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), completed a comprehensive transportation study of US 35 in both Greene and Montgomery Counties. The studies recommended long-range improvements for US 35.

ODOT split the corridor into 2 sections, with construction projects in the Greene County and Montgomery County. In Greene County, ODOT is converting the section of US35 between the North Fairfield Interchange and the Xenia Bypass to a limited-access facility. In Montgomery County ODOT is finalizing plans for US 35 between Steve Whalen Boulevard and the I-675 interchange.

US35 Corridor Improvements in Montgomery County

MVRPC, in cooperation with ODOT, conducted the US 35 Corridor Major Investment Study (MIS), to identify improvements to the US 35 corridor from I-75 to I-675. The current project, MOT-35-18-57, focuses on the recommendations of the MIS for US 35 between Steve Whalen Boulevard and the I-675 interchange.

US35 Corridor Improvements in Greene County

ODOT is proceeding to the implementation phase of the current project, GRE-35-4.26, to convert the section of US35 between the North Fairfield Interchange and the Xenia Bypass to a limited-access facility.
