The September 7 Facility Planning Subcommittee meeting will have two special presenters on the agenda, ahead of the normal business. In response to requests from MVRPC member jurisdictions, Tom Tomastik from ODNR and Barb Lubberger from OEPA will provide information on the regulation, permitting and planning issues surrounding oil and gas development in Ohio. There is a high level of interest in this topic right now; jurisdictions are invited to attend not only with technical staff but elected officials as well.
