You’ll find six bikeways in Montgomery County, including the Great Miami River Trail (25), which spans the entire county from north to south. About 27 miles of Trail 25 are in Montgomery County, making it the longest trail within the county lines. It travels through downtown Dayton, West Carrollton and Miamisburg, and past or through several MetroParks and other area attractions.

The Wolf Creek Trail (38) also crosses most of the county, from the northwest corner, to downtown Dayton. Trail 38 is the only trail to pass by Sycamore State Park.

Trail 7, the Stillwater River Trail (7), follows the Stillwater River in two separate locations, and its southern segment joins with the Great Miami River Trail at Triangle Park, site of the first National Football League game in 1920.

The Mad River Trail (8), the Creekside Trail (2) and the Iron Horse Trail (9) connect to each other and run along the eastern side of the county. An easy on-road route through Kettering can be used to connect the two segments of the Iron Horse Trail allowing for access to Centerville and Iron Horse Park.
