Project Description
- During the next six years, the I-70/75 interchange will be transformed into one of the safest, most modern and efficient interstate crossroads in the country.
- The project also includes the construction of a new interchange just south of the Little York Rd. interchange. Temporarily named the "Benchwood/Wyse Interchange", it will connect Benchwood Rd. on the west side and Wyse Rd. on the east side of the interstate. The interchange will incorporate design elements that are unique to Dayton, including the prominent placement of the Wright "B" Flyer image and other indications that Dayton is the "birthplace of aviation."
- Traffic will be maintained throughout the construction of the $145 million project.
